You may know about individual coaching for things like career, life and executive coaching. They are tools that can help you achieve clarity and success in your job and your personal life,, and work on things like work-life balance.
But did you know that group coaching may also be an option for you? Not only would you be able to get executive advice that could help change your life, but you can also work together with a supportive group of people. In addition, it can be a much more affordable option.
How this all works
Meredith Haberfeld, an executive, career and life coach for the Institute of Coaching, says that group coaching is “is about blowing up the attitudes that keep you tied to work you’re not happy doing and then give you the tools to get clarity about what you’re hungry for.”
This method offers the support system to navigate the risks and inevitable setbacks that come with pioneering new terrain, she says. Instead of going it alone, you can get to work with peers who can help spur you on. And you can also spur on your peers, and work together towards something great.
With this sort of advice, “you will have a peer group of other ambitious, accomplished individuals who also, like you, hope and believe that work can be reimagined to be both richly fulfilling and profitable,” Haberfeld says.
This method can cost you less in your pocketbook
In addition, this method is significantly less expensive than individual coaching. Individual coaching is a few hundred dollars an hour, while group coaching is a few hundred dollars a month. This is a great value, especially given what you get out of it. You have the potential to transform your entire life.
In Haberfeld’s group coaching program, it is conducted on the phone, with hour-long calls recorded each week over the course of 90 days. There are between eight and twelve people in each type of team, which allows each of them to get individual attention and to work towards changing their lives. It can also foster camaraderie among the team. To get more information about Haberfeld’s 90-day group coaching program, click here.
