On the day of the actual interview be sure to dress professionally in a business suit (both men and women). Ask questions about the employer during the interview. This not only shows specific interest in working for the employer, it shows research has been done. If asked about salary during the interview, it is best to avoid the subject until the next step in the hiring process. If salary does come up during the interview, if at all possible simply state it is negotiable.
